Gote Barn

Situated on a working dairy farm, the Elizabethan barn features a high vaulted ceiling’s bursting with unique character and elegance.

The barn features a wooden bar, dance floor and raised stage making it perfect for evening entertainment and opens onto a lawn for games or activities, welcome drinks and canapés, along with outdoor catering.

There is also the additional option of a large open-sided stretch tent to be set up on the side lawn.

The barn can be personalised to help create the perfect backdrop for your occasion, whether that’s gingham bunting or twinkling fairy lights.

Additional hire time on either side of your event is provided to accommodate this.

Location

Gote Barn is located on the edge of Ringmer village, the venue is surrounded by idyllic views of Lewes Downs and the East Sussex countryside. 5 minutes drive from the centre of Lewes and a stone's throw to Glyndebourne Opera House.

Details

The Gote Barn can hold 150 seated guests and 200 standing receptions/parties guests.

There's plenty of parking for your guests along with purpose-built Ladies, Gentlemen & Disabled toilet facilities.

Our season runs from end of April to early October, due to the barn not being heated.

This can be hired directly from us for occasions like weddings, christenings, memorials, birthday parties or company gatherings or alternatively, you may wish to work with Circa Events to provide the complete wedding day package.
